Granpa Switzer loved real caramels. He knew that only a caramel that is made with real dairy produces the creamy, chewy texture and luscious flavor he caved. That's why he named his original caramels "Buttermels," referencing all the dairy richness in his caramels. And that's why 100 years later, we are re-introducing them. Buttermels the real caramel.
